Professorship for Ethics

I joined the Department as Deputy Professor for Ethics for the Summer Semester of 2021.

I studied Philosophy and International Relations at University of Lodz (Poland), Technical University Kaiserslautern, University of Bonn and Brown University (USA). I obtained my Ph.D. in 2015 from University of Lodz, with the dissertation “The Project of International Rightful Condition in Kant’s Philosophy of Right”. Since my graduation I worked in Lodz (2015-2018), Bayreuth (2018-2019) and Bonn (2019-2021).

Research

My main area of research is Kant’s practical philosophy, encompassing his ethics, legal theory as well as anthropology and political philosophy. I also study topics in contemporary social and political philosophy. For more details, please visit my website http://ewawyrebskadermanovic.wordpress.com
